Babs Gons is a writer, theatre maker, organizer, teacher, and award-winning poet. The talks are interspersed with performances by Babs Gons together with Frazer Barry and Jolyn Phillips.The Dutch Studies Day is presented by the CAPE FORUMNETHERLANDISH STUDIES (KFN) in collaboration with lecturers and students of Dutch studies in South Africa andNamibia.The KFN and SASNEV cordially invite students and members of the public to the KFN’s annual Dutch Language Dayand the start of the celebration of the “Week van het Nederlands” in South Africa.There will also be an open-air market with food stalls that offer Belgian, Flemish and Dutch delicacies.
