The European Day of Languages is an opportunity to experience the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe in a fun-filled afternoon on Saturday 8 October at the Alliance Française of Johannesburg.

The Alliance Française of Johannesburg, in partnership with a number of European language and culture organisations, is hosting an exciting programme for this year’s European Day of Languages. Try out our speak-dating, join in a multilingual karaoke competition, or experience the outdoor market offering culinary delights and loads of information from participating countries.

The General Representation of the Government of Flanders takes part in the opening event of the European Day of Languages, which is a short movie evening at the Bioscope in Johannesburg on Friday evening the 7^th of October. Entrance is free.
