The 7th European Union Film Festival is in full swing until 22 November. The Dutch film entry, Becoming Mona, is the film adaptation of Flemish author Griet Op De Beeck's coming of age novel Kom hier dat ik u kus. You can see the author in live discussion with the film's directors Sabine Lubbe Bakker and Niels van Koevorden on Tuesday 17 November. Joined by Stefan Ruzowitzky, director of Narcissus and Goldmund and led by local documentary producer and literature festival curator Tiny Mungwe, the discussion will explore the processes, challenges and implications of transforming books into film.
