From 2 to 4 December 2019, the Government of Flanders hosted a gender workshop for its current grantees in South Africa, facilitated by Gender Research Alliance. 40 participants from partner organisations attended a three-day workshop to learn more about gender concepts and integrate them into their projects and programs. Partners studied how climate change impacts on women and men and how the different projects can integrate and adapt their activities to increase gender equality. The Government of Flanders considers gender one of the basic conditions for development.
